Doula Right Thing was founded by Rae Johnson Bundy, a doula with over 15 years of hands-on experience supporting families through birth. For the past 10 years, Rae has also served as a doula trainer and childbirth educator, helping aspiring doulas and birthing individuals build knowledge, confidence, and advocacy skills.

Rae was drawn to this work through a deep commitment to advocating for women’s health and rights, particularly within maternal care, and to addressing the disparities that exist in the quality of care individuals receive. Her approach centers evidence-based education, compassionate support, and informed decision-making.

At its core, Doula Right Thing exists to support and empower individuals throughout their birth journey, honoring each person’s experience with respect, care, and intention.
